Fiberlogy Nylon PA12+GF15 Black is a high-performance technical filament for demanding applications in professional 3D printing. This black filament is based on PA12 nylon and reinforced with 15% glass fibers. This results in exceptionally stable components with high mechanical strength, excellent chemical resistance, and very good temperature resistance.

Thanks to the glass fiber reinforcement, the material achieves significantly higher stiffness and durability than classic nylon PA12. At the same time, it remains more flexible than carbon fiber-reinforced nylon variants. This allows printed components to better withstand shocks, alternating loads, and vibrations without becoming brittle or breaking.

Another advantage of Fiberlogy Nylon PA12+GF15 is its high temperature resistance of up to approximately 170 °C. This makes the material particularly suitable for technical applications where components are permanently exposed to thermal stress. At the same time, the filament offers very good resistance to many chemicals and abrasion.

The material exhibits very low shrinkage during the printing process, resulting in precise and dimensionally accurate parts. Unlike many other nylon materials, PA12+GF15 can also be processed without a fully heated print chamber, which facilitates its use on many desktop 3D printers.

The black color gives the components a technical, professional look and is ideally suited for functional components, housings, machine components or mechanically stressed structural parts.

Due to the abrasive nature of the glass fibers, it is recommended to use a hardened steel or ruby ​​nozzle when printing. This significantly reduces wear on standard brass nozzles and ensures consistent print quality. Fiberlogy Nylon PA12+GF15 Black is therefore ideally suited for durable, robust, and precise technical components in 3D printing.
