Compared to matte PLA filaments, matte PETG offers significantly higher mechanical strength and durability. Fiberlogy Matte PETG can be reliably processed on many FDM 3D printers and offers excellent layer adhesion. For optimal results, the manufacturer recommends a printing temperature of approximately 250–270 °C. Especially with fast print profiles on modern 3D printers like Bambu Lab systems, a higher temperature can contribute to better layer adhesion and more stable parts.

The material exhibits low shrinkage and stringing, while also possessing good resistance to acids, salts, and alkaline substances. This makes the filament suitable for both durable functional components and decorative projects requiring a high-quality surface finish.
