The Starlex DHB HSS+C nozzle 0.8 mm D3x24 is the right choice for anyone who needs maximum printing speed, high flow rates, and extreme material resistance. With its large 0.8 mm orifice, it is ideally suited for large models, functional components, and abrasive, high-performance filaments.
The nozzle body is made entirely of hardened stainless steel, which is additionally nickel-plated. This combination makes the nozzle extremely resistant to abrasive filaments such as carbon fiber (CF), glass fiber (GF), metal powder, or glow-in-the-dark particles – all materials that would quickly destroy conventional brass nozzles.
The 0.8 mm opening ensures exceptionally high material flow rates, which drastically reduces printing times while simultaneously producing robust, durable layers. This nozzle truly shines when printing large and massive components.
The integrated copper sleeve ensures optimal thermal contact with all hotends with a 3.0 mm heating block diameter, as is standard with brass nozzles. Since steel conducts heat less effectively, this nozzle requires 5–10 °C higher temperatures to achieve the same flow rate as brass or copper nozzles.
The CNC-machined internal structure minimizes friction and enables a consistent, clean flow – even at high flow rates and with demanding technical filaments. The nozzle is usable up to 320 °C and is therefore ideally suited for PA CF, PAHT, ABS GF, PETG CF and other technical materials.
