The Starlex DHB HSS+C nozzle 0.6 mm D3x24 was developed for demanding technical applications requiring high throughput, robust layer adhesion, and maximum material resistance. The 0.6 mm orifice offers strong layer adhesion, high stability, and enables significantly faster printing processes.
The nozzle is made entirely of hardened stainless steel, which is additionally nickel-plated. This combination makes it extremely resistant to abrasive filaments such as carbon fiber (CF), glass fiber (GF), metal powder, or glow-in-the-dark particles – materials that quickly destroy conventional brass nozzles.
The 0.6 mm nozzle opening significantly increases the material flow rate. This considerably reduces printing times while simultaneously producing robust, durable components. This nozzle particularly shines when used for functional parts, fixtures, and sturdy housings.
The integrated copper sleeve ensures optimal thermal coupling to hotends with a 3.0 mm heating block diameter, as is typical for brass nozzles. Due to the lower thermal conductivity of steel, this nozzle requires a temperature approximately 5–10 °C higher to achieve the same flow rate as brass or copper nozzles.
The CNC-machined internal structure guarantees clean filament guidance and minimizes friction – a crucial factor for high flow rates and abrasive materials. The nozzle is designed for temperatures up to 320 °C and is therefore ideal for technical filaments such as PETG CF, ABS GF, PA CF, or PAHT.
The Starlex DHB HSS+C nozzle 0.6 mm D3x24 is the perfect choice for anyone who wants to print quickly, robustly, and with abrasive filaments. Durable, reliable, and precise – a true upgrade for demanding technical 3D printing.
