DSPIAE AS-25FPRD Flat Aluminium Sanding Block, Red. The DSPIAE AS-25FPRD flat aluminium sanding block in red is designed for precise finishing of flat surfaces, straight edges and small model parts. Unlike flexible sanding sponges, its rigid aluminium body keeps abrasive paper level, helping to prevent accidental rounding of corners.

Precise flat surfaces without rounded edges

Perfect for plastic kits, Gundam models, resin miniatures and 3D printed parts. The chamfered edges also help reach small areas. Remove sprue marks, smooth flat 3D printed surfaces and prepare parts for painting.

How to use it

The aluminium block is a reusable support, not an abrasive itself.

1. Choose self-adhesive sandpaper in the required grit.
2. Cut the abrasive sheet to fit the flat sanding face.
3. Peel off the backing and attach the paper without creases.
4. Sand with light, even pressure.
5. Replace with finer sandpaper to refine the finish.

Monte3D tip: Pair with DSPIAE DSP self-adhesive sandpaper in different grits. For tight spaces, DSPIAE CFB carbon sanding sticks are a useful addition.
